What fake Cake Wallet downloads look like
- APK files on mirror sites, file-sharing services or in chat groups. Only install APKs from the official GitHub releases, and check the SHA-256 hash.
- Look-alike domains with extra words, hyphens or a different ending, and pages on free website builders.
- App-store listings from another developer that copy the Cake Wallet name and logo.
- "Support" accounts that message you first. Cake Wallet says it never messages users first and never asks for your seed.
- Pages about the CAKE token (PancakeSwap) or Cake DeFi: those are unrelated to Cake Wallet.
